Lucknow: Special Crime Branch Unit from the Investigation Bureau (CBI) on Tuesday enrolled a murder case against six police officers – three named and three connections unknown to the murder of the Canpur Manish Gupta businessman.
The state government of the state has appealed the CBI investigation in the case of 1.
October mentioned in FIR is – Inspector of Narayan Singh, Akshay Mishra Sub-Inspector and Vijay Yadav.
On September 27, Ramgarhtal Inspector Jn Singh, Phalmandi Police Post was responsible for the Akshay Mishra Sub-Inspector (SI), the Vijay Yadav and three other police officers had entered a hotel during the verification drive in the Ramgarhtal Gorakhpur area and entered the room where the Gupta lived with Pradeep Chauhan and Hardeep Chauhan.
The police allegedly struggled them where Gupta died.
The six police were then suspended and ordered on charges of murder.
The victim’s wife Meenakshi has accused playing cheating, citing a postmortem examination report.
He claimed that her husband was killed because of a police beating.
He has challenged the police claim, said that the injury to the body of Gupta indicated that he did not fall out of bed as claimed by the police.
Immediately after the incident, the six police had fled.
Sitting headed by the additional commissioner of the Kanpur Nagar police was formed to investigate this case.
The cash prize from RS 1 Lakh was announced to arrest six police officers.
