Nagpur: anti-corruption wings from the Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) captured the senior division mechanical engineer, central train, akhilesh chouborte, red hand while accepting bribes of rs 10,000 from vehicle contractors in his office in his office in his office in the office of the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM ) on Monday.
Choubey allegedly harassed vehicle contractors by not released payment even though he mentioned the difficulties of pandemic.
The contractor has a bill around 1.7 lakh rs which is delayed towards the car rental.
Choubey was studied repeatedly asked him to bring some or other documents to delay payment.
Learned that Choubey initially demanded 10% of payment to release it.
Requests are negotiated up to RS 10,000.
Meanwhile, the contractor, approached the CBI which put a trap.
The search was conducted at the Choubey office, the official housing quarter near the Bhole gas station and also in his place of origin in Beitul, Madhya Pradesh.
He will be produced before a special court on Tuesday.
