Coimbatore: Commission Grants University (UGC) has warned CBM College A Help of Arts and Science College in Kovaipur revoked the assisted status, if it failed to restore a grant that was misused by the former principal, in two weeks.
Kumarasamy, who is the principal between 2002 and 2014, has abused UGC funds to Rs 14 Lakh tones.
A Committee Director of Education Collegiate has verified the abuse of the Principal of the College this year.
“This produces funding stops UGC to campus.
Have asked college to return money before searching for more grants.
It has also affected the teacher, who cannot approach the UGC which is looking for research grants,” he said.
The college administration has sent several reminders to Collegiate’s education director, but there is no response, the main word of parthiban.
