NEW DELHI: The government on Tuesday determined that class XII board examinations of CBSE wouldn’t be held this year in light of the uncertain states because of Covid-19.
The decision has been taken at a review meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi concerning the group XII board examinations of CBSE.
The authorities had previously in April declared the CBSE Class 10 examinations.
Following the CBSE, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) additionally declared in-state Class 12 board assessments.
Condition boards will also be expected to adhere to the guide.
Just how can CBSE, CISCE tabulate class 12 results?The authorities stated that CBSE will require action to compile the outcomes of class XII students according to’well-defined target standards’ at a time-bound way.

Two options have been considered, according to official resources: The examination might be based on performances at the last exams of their previous few classes i.e.
Courses 9, 10 and 11.
The second alternative being considered would be to provide a specific weightage into Class 10 plank outcome and internal examinations of Class 12.
For students who wish to spend the course 12 board examinations, this alternative could be made accessible from the CBSE, as and if the problem gets conducive.
Dr G Immanuel, chairman of this council for CISCE declaring that the cancellation of ISC Class 12 Board tests stated that the last choice on compiling outcome is not yet been taken.
