NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is now developing an IT platform to help schools with tabulating course 12 outcomes by easing calculation work and decreasing time a leading official said Friday.
The tests for both group 10 and 12 were also cancelled by CBSE in light of this COVID-19 pandemic.
The board has declared its own alternative assessment coverage for the courses.
While colleges are requested to submit course 10 marks until June 30the deadline for universities to compile course 12 marks is July 15.
“Concerning the tabulation of symbols for course 12, the CBSE has chosen to aid the outcome committee and colleges in planning of outcome.
Hence an IT system has been developed in house that will be made accessible to each of the concerned universities sponsoring students for course 12 for calculation of outcomes,” CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said.

“This system may facilitate the calculation down work, reduce the time so many different hassles.
This system will even pre replicate marks of Class 10 of those students passed out of CBSE.
Efforts are also forced to take different boards’ course 10 results information,” he further added.
“CBSE will always communicate with the schools to make sure that with no issue, end result is ready by the universities.
CBSE will also set a help desk to aid the colleges in planning of effect of the group 10 and class 12 in the next week,” Bhardwaj said.
As stated by the coverage for course 12 results, determined with a 13-member panel setup by the board, the concept newspaper evaluation formulation is 30 percent weightage will be awarded to Class 10 marks, 30 percent to Class 11 marks and 40 percent weightage to Class 12 marks acquired in device test/mid-term/pre-board examinations.
The CBSE plot further declared for Class 10, the 30 percent marks based on typical concept component of three performing topics from five topics will be obtained.
According to the evaluation criteria declared for course 10 pupils, although 20 marks for each topic is going to be for internal evaluation as annually, 80 marks will be computed based on their pupils’ performance in a variety of tests or examinations through the year.
