CBSE released term-1 date sheets, exams for large subjects to start from November 30

New Delhi: Nearly 50% of 36 lakh students for class X and XII CBSE final exam will write their exam in their own schools, the council announces on Monday.
The minor test will begin on November 16, while the main subjects will begin on November 30, 2021.
This is for the first time CBSE will conduct a council exam in two phases – terms 1 and 2.
The board also increases the number of exam centers from 7,000 to 14,000.
The number of registered candidates has increased almost 4 lakh this year.
While around 22 Lakh candidates are expected to take the term OMR-based MCQ 1 of the class X exam, around 14 lakh has registered for a period of 1 of the final class XII.

The date of the minor subject will be given to the school.
The exam for several subjects from the 2020 board exam is not held, while the 2021 exam for both classes cannot be done at all due to a pandemic.
After that, in accordance with the provisions of the 2020 National Education Policy, the Board decided to conduct an examination in two phases – Term 1 (i.e.
a 90-minute test based on MCQ) and term 2 (which will be 120 minutes subjective test).
Both conditions will have a practical examination.
However, the term 1 practice will be carried out by the school.
According to Sanyam Bhardwaj, the test controller, CBSE, the Board has made a complicated arrangement to make 1 examination in the midst of the third wave concern of Covid-19.
“All schools will be disanitized and only 12 students will sit in each room to maintain social distance.”
Class XII exam for large subjects will begin with sociology on December 1, 2021.
Other major subjects such as English, mathematics, physics, accounting, chemistry and economics will be carried out in 3, 6, 10, 13, 14 and 15 each -Masing.
The Grade X’s main subject exam will begin with social science on November 30, 2011, followed by science on December 2, the basis of mathematics and standards in 4 and English in December on December 11.
The Board has also made special provisions for students with disabilities, which include separate seating arrangements.
“Separate rooms will be provided for the candidate.
They will also be given assistance by the direction centers and PWD CBSE rights to make a free barrier exam,” Bhardwaj added.
In twice the center number, Bhardwah said: “This is done to ensure that students appear at the exam center close to their school and wherever this is not possible, candidates will be permitted to write exams in their own school.
But each exam center will be monitored by CBSE observer.
