Nagpur: Secondary Education Council (CBSE) sends letters of questions for sustainable Term-1 Board Exams online, attending which schools download, print, and distribute them in a certain time frame.
But with the main exam starting next week, schools now have to prepare for the challenges of logistics to print hundreds of copies in a limited time.
As reported by the previous TOI, CBSE was conducting a board exam in two phases for the 2021-22 academic session.
The first phase, called Term-1, is currently underway and so far only the minor (optional) subject has been held.
Safe! You have managed to throw your votelogin to see the CBSE Resolution Principal say, “Once the main paper starts, the amount of mold needed will be much higher.
Because all this must be done one hour or more before the exam, we are unable to have good technical problems with the printer or power supply.
”
For example, the burden of students currently say 40 to 50 students will jump to nearly 400 after the main exam starts.
Although the number of exam participants will vary from the center to the center, it cannot deny the fact that the multifold jump rate after the main exam starts.
CBSE has tested the system through drill Mock and at least in Maharashtra, there are no big problems found.
A Senior Principal said, “No one says that it cannot be done.
Every school, which is a test center, has been equipped with high-speed printers and power backup systems.
Some are even called the service provider printing company to send technicians to school with standby , Even though I think it will be a little excessive.
”
Other principals say, “Every day before the exam starts, at certain times we have to download paper from the online portal made for test management.
This paper can be downloaded after entering the key (code) produced at that time.
During this whole process, observers Neutral is present to ensure the process is fair.
“After downloading, the question paper must be printed, according to the number of students who appear.
A CBSE school teacher said if the paper delivery system asked online became the norm, the main logistics load would be deleted.
“Previously, paper physical questions must be stored with the Custodian Bank.
Then to transport the same to the centers in rural areas is another challenge.
Massive exercises held throughout the country will now be eliminated, all thanks to online newspapers,” he said.
Assessment of the same day
Term-1 exam answers are currently based OMR, and the strategies used by the CBSE will see the results faster.
The school is evaluating OMR sheets on the same day and uploading the mark.
“The physical OMR sheet will still be sent by post, but this same day’s evaluation will save a lot of time,” said a teacher.
“I haven’t discussed in detail, but it is clear that when the physical OMR sheet reaches CBSE, the marks are uploaded.
Then the OMR scan will only be a cross-examination, so the results will come very quickly,” said the teacher.
