Coimbatore: CBSE Class X The term One Board Exed starts with a positive note on Saturday, with most students finding the paper (Tamil) easily.
The Central Secondary Education Council (CBSE) has announced the council exam in two terms with the same battery this year.
The 90 minute exam has 50 multiple choice questions, where students must try 40, each carrying one sign.
S Malini, a private CBSE school student in Pealamedu, said the exam was easy, except for some complicated questions.
“We can prepare well, because the question is requested only from 50% syllabus.” Because students attend the physical class since the beginning of September, they can prepare for the test well by cleaning their doubts, the teachers said.
P S Martin, Principal of Nava Bharath National School, said question papers were accepted online from CBSE with passwords to download the same.
“We then took a photocopy of the question paper and distributed it to students, who tried the answer in the OMR sheet.” At least 110 students appear for the exam at Nava Bharath National School, which is the center of four other schools too.
Most of the schools have completed the term one syllabus last month itself and remember the chapter worksheet and bank questions to students to prepare them for the council exam.
“It helps increase their speed and accuracy, detect usage and see the right answers, and their confidence to take the term one board test,” said a teacher.
