New Delhi: The Indian competition commission has imposed a fine of RS 200 Crore on Maruti Suzuki India Carmakers Ltd.
(MSIL) to pamper themselves in unfair business practices.
The good thing has been slapped to “pamper yourself in the anti-competitive behavior of the maintenance of the resale price (RPM) in the passenger vehicle segment by implementing a Discount Control Policy Vis-à-Vis Dealer,” said the regulator in the release on Monday.
In addition, the supervisor has directed the company to stop and quit engaged in anti-competitive practice.
The regulator found that Msli had an agreement with a dealer where dealers were detained from offering discounts to customers outside determined by the company, the broadcast said.
