UDHAMPUR(J&K): Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Y K Joshi on Tuesday stated ceasefire understanding between India and Pakistan has been followed at”letter and spirit” from either side, but claimed that the Indian Army isn’t letting down its guard”for a single bit” across the border in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The Ceasefire Understanding (CFU) attained on 25 February 2021 has lasted since then and either side (India-Pak) are obscured from the arrangement in spirit and letter,” he stated in an interview to PTI.
Lt Gen Joshi said that the Pakistan military at present appears to be dedicated to ensuring peace and tranquility across the LoC, however, added that”we would like to guarantee our countrymen we aren’t letting our guard down for a single little”.
