‘Celebrate Bakrid at home with Kin, avoid meetings’

Patna: With the intention of avoiding major churches, mass prayers will not be offered at Gandhi Maidan or ‘Edgah’ (Open Place ‘(open’ Namaz ‘offered by Muslims) in the State Capital on Wednesday.

His General Secretary, Maulana Shibli Al Qasami, said, “Shaking hands and hugs must be avoided and social distance is maintained during the celebration.” Quasami advised Muslims to “maintain cleanliness while offering ‘Qurbani’ (ritual sacrifice) and disposing of waste at designated points”.
