Children have the most important role in this mission, the minister states.
“Many people say that the festival must have crackers.
But in the first diwali celebrated in our country, at the beginning of this tradition, there are no crackers.
It all starts with DIYAS lighting.
Crackers appear far later and assimilated.
Slowly, we begin to remember them as part.
From our culture.
We need to return to our old tradition and brighter Diyas.
Diya and Diwali start with ‘D’, while pollution and Patakhe (crackers) start with ‘P’.
We need to remember this, and also spread the message to everyone Around us, “he said.
