Patna: There is no concession of death because of the shooting of celebrations in the state.
The threat, which was previously limited to marriage, has not been spared from the current birthday function.
In an effort to curb this threat, the center has changed ACT in December 2019 and made a celebration shot even with licensed weapons at public meetings, religious places, weddings or other functions that were withdrawn and fines.
But this information cannot be published correctly due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Before this amendment, the Interior Ministry had issued a detailed direction to all countries based on where the Bihar Department had directed all DMS and SPS on February 14, 2019 to take hard action against those involved in shooting public celebrations or brandishing.
However, despite the difficult attitude of the government, the threat continues in the state.
One of Vicky Kumar (24) was killed in a shooting celebration on the birthday function at the Pira under the Area of Police Station Ram Krishna Nagar in Patna on Friday Wee Friday.
On the same night, a Videographer, Ravi Kant Singh (28), was killed and three others were injured in the celebration of shooting a ’tilated’ ceremony in Kadwan Village in the Rohtas district.
Writer-cum-freelance Journalist Pushya Mitra said the Britons first began to shoot in the air or pay salute weapons to pay respect for the king or landlord.
“Landlord and rich people adopted this practice during the British government in India.
Then spread to other parts of the community,” he said, adding people from a new generation to advance to stop this threat.
Sociologist D M was diaply blaming the industrialization and feudal mentality to display strength, especially among the top caste people, for celebration shooting incidents.
“We must understand cultural deviations from industrialization.
We usually express happiness in different ways on older days, but have changed now,” he said.
Shakakar said there was a need to spread awareness among people about the adverse effects of the celebration shooting.
“Police or courts will not be much effective,” he said, adding innocent people, including the bride and groom, injured or killed in a shooting celebration in the past.
The distance of the IGP center of Sanjay Singh said the government also wanted to curb shooting celebrations.
“The action was treated as a criminal violation now even if no one was injured,” he added.
