Mumbai police recently launched ‘Nirbhaya’ squad, initiative for women’s safety.
Aiming to prevent abuse and sexual crimes against women in public places, a special special team focuses on crime hotspot patrols and gathering intelligence from shelter and women’s hostels.
When the Nirbhaya squad began their official Helpline number today, Celebs from B-Town turned turned praised the city police because their initiative was needed.
Sharing videos that display everyday crimes against women, Vicky Kaushal wrote, “Squad Nirbhaya” is a special force for women in the city of Mumbai.
” 103 “is a special helpline number that can be used by women in a crisis or used to report women’s related crimes.”

Shahid Kapoor Tweeted, “Kudos to the Mumbai Police to implement special safety cells called ‘NIRBHAY squad.” “Created for women’s safety and to prevent women related crimes, this squad will be established in every police station throughout the city and someone can reach their Helpline number 103 during the crisis.

Spread further awareness, Sara Ali Khan shares the helpline number that can be used to report women’s related crimes.
Katrina Kaif, on the other hand, asked women to have a help channel number on their quick call.
