Jaipur: Mobile phones are worth more than Rs 50 Lakh stolen from a new showroom opened near Govind Marg at Vaishali Nagar on Thursday.
Midnight theft leaving the city police in suitability because of shutter showrooms and glass doors really intact without signs of destruction.
“The defendant escaped with 93 cellphones from different models, they took the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) from CCTVs to remove evidence,” said Sho, Vaishali Nagar, Anil Kumar Jaiman.
The defendant also took RS 8 lakh cash from the Showroom drawer.
The owner, Nitin was willing, a Mansarover resident, told Ti that he had arrived in a showroom on Thursday morning.
The staff turned the shutter, only to find empty cartons and cellular boxes that were filled with all over the floor.
The defendant was also broken down to the warehouse where many new cellphones arrived in different boxes.
Interestingly, the warehouse gate is designed in such a way as to make it appear as part of the wall of the showroom.
Therefore, it is difficult for outsiders to easily find the way to the room.
The accusation has penetrated into the showroom in a very mysterious way.
The entrance gate included iron shutter and glass doors did not have anything to suggest that the defendant had tried to revoke it, how the defendant entered the place to remain a mystery even to the police.
The police asked the owner to give a list of all employees working in the showroom, which opened about a month ago.
While the police have not ruled out the possibility of staff yet, the theft dares to have a more skilled gang footprint.
“The way the defendant has slipped into a confusing cell phone room.
It only suggested that the gang had previous experience to sneak into stores without leaving a lot of evidence behind them,” said an official told toi.
The place where the incident is located in one of the busiest places in the shopping area that divides the jurisdiction of the Vaishali Nagar and Chitrakoot police station.
