Cellphones, cables, adhesives and electrical circuits seen in Adharwadi District Prison

Thane: cellphones along with cable bundles, adhesives and electric circuit boards seen in the Adharwadi district prison, the police were informed.
According to police Khadak on registering the case in the incident reported last Friday, a prison staff, during a routine examination from the place, suspecting several contraband items to sneak into the barracks after a surprise examination carried out after reminding senior officials.
With their horror, prison staff see cellphones, electrical cables, steel pins and circuit boards along with adhesive packages filled in the pickled pickled jars between two water drums on the toilet in one of the barracks.
The inmates, when asked, said they were not aware of the same thing, the police official said.
The police said they were investigating how these items were usually prohibited in the barracks, walking inside after the case had been registered with unknown people.
