Thiruvananthapuram: The smart mobile application project will be implemented to improve the process of gathering inorganic waste Haritha Karma Sena who works in local government institutions and to carry out waste disposal activities more efficiently and perfectly, said Minister LSG M V Govindan Master here on Wednesday.
This project was launched under the auspices of Haritha Kerala Mission and Suchitwa Mission.
Keltron is responsible for developing and monitoring web-based programs needed for cellular applications.
In the first phase of the project, the mobile application will be established in 300 Grama Panchayats, six companies and 70 cities.
The mobile application will help to understand and manage the details of the number of bio-inorganic waste collected from each household in the environment of local bodies and how to maintain.
The QR code will be given to households using cellular applications and information collected with the help of the QR code.
The amount of waste collected from each location and disposal number will be available in the application to allow all local and state-level and district level systems related to track the progress of waste collection and treatment activities.
The minister said that the project would be executed in the local body with better infrastructure in the initial phase.
After the smart garbage mobile application initiative began fully functioning, the plan would be extended to other local bodies.
