MADURAI: The cellular vaccination bus was launched in Madurai on Thursday by Cii-Yi (Young Indian) coordinating with the District Administration and City Corporation.
District collector Dr S Aneesh Sekhar from the bus in front of the commissioner Corporation Madurai K P Karthikeyan and representatives of young Indians (Yi).
The collector said that cellular service goals were to cover a large number of floating populations.
The bus will be placed in places where people gather in large quantities, both in cities and rural areas.
This vehicle will have a doctor and two nurses who will manage the vaccine.
It will have the capacity to vaccinate 250 people per day.
