Jaipur: The center has registered 30 districts in Rajasthan under the educational retreat district (EBD), so as destroying claims made by the state as the education center that appears in the country.
Rajasthan is the only country that is 90% of the district has emerged in the ‘gray’ education list.
Three districts – Jaipur, City and Pratapgarh did not display in the EBD list.
Register, which was sent by the Ministry of Education in Parliament recently, was based on a survey report by the University Grant (UGC) commission.
These numbers are contrary to state reports that claim that 12-16 districts in this country are compatible with national benchmarks in terms of 12 parameters.
Reports by UGC are made at the gross registration ratio (GER) where the state is ranked 24th in the latest 2019-20 reports, universities per lakh population and average registration per lecture.
The country ger was 24.1%, while the national average was 27.1%.
GER is defined as a percentage of the population in the age group 18-23 registered in one of the higher education institutions.
This report also contradicts the fact that the state has the highest number of 89 universities and the fourth highest number of 3,380 universities in the country.
The figure of 37 colleges per lakh is also better than the national average but still, 90% of the district has failed in the national average match.
“Assessment based on the three unfair parameters for the largest situation such as Rajasthan.
Here the population is spread and distributed rarely so it is difficult for the transition from school to college.
Women registration in the country has traditionally poorly leads to the overall decline in the gall and finally, the high level of migration Among the families, especially the youth made it clear to lower the GER, “said a higher education expert.
Demonstrating government errors, Damodar Goyal, an education said the wrong planning by the government sequential led to the current situation.
“Reports indirectly show where the state is on the scale of educational quality? Even though it has the top edge in the number of universities and universities, 30 of your regencies approved means the absence of concrete planning at the leadership in the education sector,” Goyal.
A high-ranking official of the Ministry of Higher Education who asked anonymity said that calling 30 inverted districts was to end the efforts of all stakeholders.
Minister of Technical Education Subhash Garg said some surveys had given us positions in the top three while others put us above 10.
“I do not want to comment on this particular reference to report because I do not know the parameters they have considered.
The main facie sounds conflicting,” he said.
“The picture seems unreal Poverty, “the official said.
