New Delhi: The government has decided to expand its 75,000 grams of tele-law services which cover all states and the United States this year, Law Minister of Law Kirenriju said on Saturday when launching a cellular application for citizens that allow online consultation with panel lawyers.
The tele-law initiative from the Justice Department, launched in 2017, is a free service for the section of the poor and marginalized.
The application version that can be downloaded from the services available on the cellphone will help expand its reach quickly and cover the entire population in which they qualify will continue to get free services.
It has helped more than 12 Lakh beneficiaries, including people from the SC / SC community and women.
Rijiju had previously stated that the government worked to take the delivery system of justice to the doorway of people.
Rijju, who sided with Frontline TELE workers gathered from all over the country, said that he downloaded the ‘Citizens Tele-Law mobile application’ will optimize the mechanism for sending justice centered on residents.
The Tele-Law application is the first of its type initiative where there can be downloaded applications and utilize lawyer services, according to the Ministry of Law.
