New Delhi: Secretary General of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Thursday regarding the center said the decision to reduce customs for gasoline and diesel was taken “for fear” from the upcoming meeting selection.
“This is a decision because of fear, not from the heart.
The Vasoolol government will get answers to its booty in the upcoming election,” Gandhi tweeted in Hindi.
The central government on Wednesday reduced customs for gasoline and diesel by Rs 5 and the amount of Hospital 10 which is effective starting today.
Meanwhile, some state governments also reduce VAT on two petroleum products.
This happens after the Ministry of Finance urges countries “to reducinate” VAT on gasoline and diesel to provide assistance to consumers.
Bharatiya Janata Party-LED Assam Governam announced a reduction in value added tax (PPN) on gasoline and diesel by Rs 7.
Gujarat, Manipur, Tripura, Karnataka and the Government of Goa also announced a VAT reduction in the same margin as the same margin.
The Yogi Adityanth government in Uttar Pradesh and the Government of Manohar Lal Khattar-LED in Haryana reduced VAT on gasoline and diesel in Rs 12.
Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand government reduced VAT on gasoline and diesel with Rs 2 per liter.
Two petroleum products have seen trends of recent increases.
The Ministry of Finance said that crude oil prices have witnessed global gains in recent months and “consequently, domestic gasoline and diesel prices have increased in recent weeks that provide inflationary pressure”.
“The world has also seen the shortcomings and increases in all forms of energy.
The central government has made efforts to ensure that there is no energy shortage in this country and that commodities such as gasoline and diesel are available adequately to meet our requirements,” the ministry said.
