Central funds for conservation and preservation of monuments in Odisha are reduced by more than 50% in the last five years

BHubaneswar: The allocation of central funds for conservation and conservation of national important monuments in Odisha has been reduced from Rs 8.65 Crore in 2016-17 to RS 3.63 Crore in 2021.

He further added that, conservation work, conservation and environmental development from a monument that was centrally protected in Odisha was a sustainable process taken according to the annual conservation plan (ACP) drawn by the field office, and the same was attended by the Indian Archaeological Survey (ASI) accordingly Availability of resources and priorities.
ASI has provided basic facilities and facilities such as drinking water, toilets, facilities to be challenged by physically, lanes, cultural / signage bulletage boards, parking, robe rooms on the site and monuments according to the needs, priority, and availability of resources, he said.
