A significant accident was averted through an alarm train driver at January 2017 near Diva channel of Central Railway’s Mumbai branch. A similar incident had been reported May 19, 2021 at the Pune branch of Central Railway.
In both instances, iron bits (old railroad ) were discovered on the paths. Fortunately, the motorists seen those railroad pieces punctually and implemented emergency brakes at the back of time. These railroad pieces were believed to be put on the paths by miscreants.

These are simply a couple instances. Many such incidents are reported in the past few years at the Central Enforcement community. To prevent these kinds of events later on, Alok Kansal, General Manager of Central Railway arranged to lift each of old railroad pieces lying nearby the paths inside a month.
“This is quite significant from the security viewpoint. Hence, I’ve instructed the officers concerned to clear those left wing single rail bits in the first but definitely in just one month,” explained Kansal, adding a scrap-free department ought to be among their priorities of Central Creek.
Kansal conducted security scrutiny in suburban and Ghat segments of Central Railway’s Mumbai branch on May 14. Through review, he discovered that many old railroad pieces were lying close to the paths.

Abandoned structures
Aside from old railroad bits, the GM also taught elimination of fresh and old decapitated constructions of the segments.
The majority of these previous structures were utilized since 1,500 volts DC sub channels.
