Centre Accomplishes major disciplinary Proceeding against ex-West Bengal Principal secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay

NEW DELHI: The Centre has pioneered significant penalty proceedings against former West Bengal chief secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay for alleged misconduct and misbehavior, officials said on Monday.
Bandyopadhyay, currently an advisor to West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, was requested to respond to your”memorandum”, in 30 days, delivered to him from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) citing that the fees they said.
The former chief secretary was warned of big penalty proceedings which enables the central authorities to withhold pension or gratuity, or even possibly both, either in total or in part, ” the officials stated.
