NEW DELHI: In what can offer a significant increase in cutting the amount of civil lawsuits involving land disputes, the law ministry has requested all of the high courts to clean impending approval needed for state authorities to connect with their territory document and land registration database together with the National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG).
On integration of this property enrollment database of every nation using all the NJDGthe courts could refer to the real enrollment documents online rather than waiting for the proof filed by the plaintiffs that frequently takes several decades.
“Many high courts are asked by the department of justice to offer clearance to state authorities to allow integration of NJDG along with eCourts with property registration and record database,” justice division secretary Barun Mitra has stated.
Already eight countries have obtained the essential consent from their respective high courts and the integration procedure is in advance, he explained.
The joining of the appropriate ty registration database with all the NJDG can be a step towards bettering India’s World Bank standing on Benefits of Doing Company to make more transparency in land-related disputes and fast-tracking industrial circumstances.
This past year, the legislation had held a meeting with representatives from eCommittee of both Supreme Court and section of land funds and other people to allow linkage of land enrollment using NJDG as part of enhancing the simplicity of performing business ecosystem.
A working team was subsequently included to work out a more comprehensive action program.
