NEW DELHI: The Centre has supplied over 27 crores Covid vaccine dosages into the states and Union Territories (UTs) thus much the ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW) advised on Wednesday.
“As many as 27,28,31,900 vaccine dosages are offered to states and UTs up to now, through Government of India (with no price station ) and via direct state procurement class.
Of the complete intake, such as wastages has been 25,45,45,692 doses,” reads the official announcement.
As stated by the Union health ministry, even over 1,82,86,208 Covid vaccine dosages continue to be accessible with all the conditions and UTs to be treated.
The MoHFW had previously informed the accumulative quantity of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered at the nation has reached 26,17,40,273 according to the 7 pm analysis report on Tuesday.
“As many as 20,99,621 vaccine doses have been administered as initial dose and 1,16,326 vaccine dosages given as next dose at the age group 18-44 decades.
Cumulatively, 4,34,35,032 men across 37 countries and UTs have now received their initial dose and overall 8,33,808 have received their second dose because the beginning of Phase-3 of their vaccination drive,” it stated.
India began the world’s biggest vaccination push on January 16 this season in a pragmatic manner with health care workers (HCWs) getting inoculated first.
