NEW DELHI: The Z-category VIP protection defense of West Bengal politician and MLA Mukul Roy, that lately re-joined that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) following a short stint with the BJP, was removed, official sources said Thursday.
They stated the Union home ministry has led that the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to remember its detachment set up together with all the 67-year-old Roy.
Roy had a week combined West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee-led TMC with his son Subhrangshu at Kolkata.
Sources said Roy, that won the assembly election for a BJP candidate in Krishnanagar Uttar constituency, had written to the Centre to draw the safety cover, that has been given effect to.
Roy had stopped the TMC later being eliminated from the place of their party’s national general secretary.
He’d joined the BJP at November, 2017, also has been created the party’s national vice president.
