Centuries-old four idols Discharged from Patna City temple

PATNA: Three ashtadhatu idols worth several crores were Discharged by the Thakurbari Mutt in Gwaltoli at Kumhrar Beneath Agamkuan police station Place at Patna City on Saturday.

Agamkuan police station SHO Abhijeet Kumar reported that the incident came to light if sailors seen the cracked window of their temple.
“The idols were all of Lord Ram, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman.
They’d silver decorations on them, also.
Locals said that the idols were about three years old and made from ashtadhatu,” he explained.
The temple can be thought to be centuries-old, ” he explained.
SHO Kumar said that the thieves had cut off a few thick iron sticks mended in one of their temple windows to create space for penetrating indoors.
“The temple has been taken care of and preserved by the natives.
No priest was around for the past two decades,” he explained.
The SHO said that no CCTV cameras are all not there.
“A dog team has been wrapped in,” he explained.
The SHO said the feeling is high the theft isn’t a regular one but is closely associated with organised idol smuggling gangs.
“Such ashtadhatu idols are valuable and largely centuries-old.
They bring crores from the worldwide sector.
Such idols are largely smuggled away from the nation throughout northeast or Nepal,” a senior police officer stated.
A great number of precious ashtadhatu idols of goddess and gods have been stolen out of temples and mutts throughout the country in the past several decades.
Authorities have managed to locate hardly a number of them thus far.
