MUMBAI: Nathu Vithal Rathod, CEO of state-owned Aarey Dairy, has been detained by the anti-corruption agency (ACB) on Monday for allegedly looking for a Rs 50,000 shield by a slumdweller at Aarey Colony. Rathod was held following his office helper, Arvind Tiwari, was arrested while allegedly taking the amount on his benefit. The ACB’s Mumbai unit reserved them under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Tiwari stated he chose the bribe in Rathod’s behest. Afterwards, ACB officials completed a search of their homes, said resources. Environmentalist Stalin D stated,”A comprehensive research has to be carried out.” In 2011, the then CEO L R Bhosale has been captured by ACB while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh to award a contract to a private builder.
