Mumbai: More than 12 lakh certificates of students who graduated from Mumbai University for the past seven years are now available in digital format at the National Academic Depository (NAD).
The university uploaded a student certificate from the 2014 academic year to 2020 on DigiLocker.
A total of 24.9 Digital Lakh certificates of students from five universities in the state are available in storage now, where more than 50% comes from the University of Mumbai.
The University Grant Commission has directed all educational institutions in India to maintain student academic credentials in DigiLocker through NAD.
MU uploaded about 12.5 lakh certificates in the first phase and plan to add 5 more lats in the second phase.
These documents are digitally verified and can be accessed by students after registering in the portal (www.digilocker.gov.in/dashboard).
