Jalandhar: To increase the General Waste Processing plant (CETP) in the local skin complex to ensure the right treatment of waste from the skin industry, Jalandhar District Administration has published a Letter of Intent to Chennai-Based Agent M / S ECO PVT protection engineer.

The total cost of this project is RS.
27.26 Crore, which will be borne by the central government, state government, and CETP beneficiaries in the proportion of 70%, 15% & 15% respectively.
Investigating details, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said that it was a long-awaited demand for the skin of the skin complex, Jalandhar and the Punjab government had made this decision for the welfare of the skin industry.
DC said that this step will help strengthen CETP on the one hand and reduce environmental pollution significantly by the industry on the other.
Thori said that this would help in providing great assistance and many were awaited for the industry that added CETP in the leather complex founded in 2009 and needed to be improved in accordance with new standards that would help to curb pollution.
He further said that the work will be completed at a fast speed and will be completed within the time-skeleton and the company will be responsible for the smooth running of CETP for one year after completion of upscale projects.
