Jaipur: Shortly after Ajay Yadav (42) was shot dead in the banian park, the control room directed all the units of patrolling immediately in a different direction, but the unit of the Vidhayakpuri police station failed to carry out a calculated patrol.
According to the source, the radio control room of all Chetaks (cellular patrol unit) to immediately install good at an important city checkpoint to find suspects involved in Yadav’s murder.
“The Chaccre Vidhayakpuri team is also mandated to join the efforts of patrolling.
Contrary to the specified direction, the team does not reach the area to patrol,” said an official.
Senior officials then asked team members about negligence reported.
The team replied that they were involved in different jobs related to investigations.
Their reply failed to cut ice and staff discussed.
Additional Police Commissioner (crime) Ajay Pal Lamba confirmed that disciplinary action was needed because of the negligence reported.
Meanwhile, the control room ordered a ‘category’ patrol on city routes, especially more than two dozen routes that lead to the highway in Jaipur’s West stretch.
All police are directed to keep their firearms.
The incident, however, has exposed many security chinks.
The murder occurred in a full public view in the midst of a swollen crowd in a crowded place.
Until Tuesday night, there were no guidance accused.
This is the second murder within 30 days after someone was shot and killed during the Happy Day.
On August 26, Rajinder Kumar Chawla, a NHAI project consultant, was shot dead at Vaishali Nagar in the same way.
