Mumbai: RBL Bank Board has appointed Pradip Shah, Chair of the National Asset Reconstruction Company (NARCL), as an external expert to work with the CEO search panel.
The Board has also appointed Egon Zehnder as a search company to identify appropriate candidates for MD & CEO posts for banks.
The Board search committee consists of Manjeev Singh Puri, Chair of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC), and two other directors – Ishan Raina and Veena Malekar.
Identifying a new CEO has become a top priority for the council after Petuman Vishwavir Ahuja took place on last month’s leave as soon as the RBI nominated Yogesh Dayal to the Bank Board.
The appointment of an external expert and a search company comes six months before the term ahuja will end.
