New Delhi: Army Chief of Staff (CoA) General MM Naravane on Friday visited the South Command and reviewed the operational situation in the sector.
According to official release, General Naravane was in a two-day visit to the South Command.
During his visit to Pune, CoAs reviewed the operation of the passenger and commercial vehicle assembly and engineering research center (ERC).
General Naravane also visited the Strategic System Complex (SSC) Larsen & Toubro (L & T) in Talegaon near Pune to witness their production facilities and efforts to develop the modernization of the Indian armed forces.
CoAS is complained about various defense related programs and L & T involvement with the Indian Army.
CoAs praised the efforts of both customary producers in promoting Atmanirbharta in making defense.
On the second day of two days visit to the South Command, on August 7, General Naravane will visit INS Hansa, an Indian naval air station near Dabolim in Goa.
