CHANDIGARH: The UT government on Monday granted opening of shops every day from 9am to 3pm in view of decrease in the amount of Covid-19 instances and needs increased by dealers and other industrial businesses. The decision had been taken at an inspection meeting chaired by UT secretary VP Singh Badnore. The government chose to keep night curfew from 6pm to 5am every day. The weekend curfew from 6pm on Friday (May 28) to 5am on Monday (May 31) will also last. The UT explained that throughout the weekend curfew, just essential stores will be permitted to stay open. Officials stated all stores’ assumptions need to be sanitised and clients and all men attending them need to mandatorily apply masks. The marketplace associations need to ensure accessibility of masks inside the stores and entrance points to niches, they included. The health department said that from 62 patients of Dark Fungus confessed in various town associations, 10 are out of Chandigarh.
