Dr.
Chandraprakash Dwivedi filmmaker, who is famous for directing the 1991 series, ‘Chanakya’, has been given to the Padma Shri Award.
He dedicated the award to the teacher and colleagues and spoke to Etimes, he said, “I was fortunate to get some extraordinary teachers who instilled my interest in history and literature.
I also got some very talented professional colleagues and studied so far has made it so far My series and films are very contributing to my learning.
I dedicate my appreciation to my teacher and colleague.
”
Dr.
Chandraprakash Dwivedi has worked on projects rooted in Indian culture such as ‘Chanakya’, ‘Upanishad Ganga’, ‘Limbar’ among the others.
“I always believe in cinemas rooted in our land, our history and literature,” he added.

On the working front, the filmmaker has directed the upcoming Akshay Kumar project ‘Prithviraj’, a film based on the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan which has been scheduled to release worldwide on January 21, 2022, but was postponed because of a pandemic.

Busy working at the finishing touch of ‘prithviraj’ he said, “I thank the government for giving me this honor, but I always thank the teacher in my life.”
