T’puram: Secretary General of AICC Oommen Chandy, who met Sonia Gandhi, was studied to complain with the functioning style of current leadership.
Chandy raised the problem of repairing parties and disciplinary actions taken against leaders in the state.
However, the opposition leader VD Satheesan said the party revamp could not be stopped because the AICC selection process would take one year to complete it.
“Until then, the party could not die and need the office carrier to move,” he said.
Chandy said in Delhi that he discussed with the Secretary General of AICC Tariq Anwar and KC Venugopal and told them about the problems regarding the country.
“I have a specific opinion about Revamp Party, which has been communicated to them.
But, I am not ready to reveal it to the media,” he said.
Chandy was studied to complain that the current leadership did not experience a discussion about the decision taken in the party forum.
The political affairs committee (PAC), which is the highest decision-making body from the party, not meeting by making a decision.
New leadership has no trust in PAC and therefore high orders must intervene in this matter.
He alleged that disciplinary action was being carried out on leaders on behalf of anti-party activities.
He told President AICC that all actions taken were unilateral and those who skinned senior leaders in the party were punished.
Chandy has urged the High Command Party to intervene in the country’s problems.
But, Sathean explained that if senior leaders have complaints or problems, the party’s leadership is ready to discuss.
“Because we are leadership, we don’t hesitate to undergo discussions with them.
We are ready to sort out the problem,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chandy said in New Delhi that Tariq Anwar would reach the country to have more discussion with state leaders.
