KOLLAM: Chargesheet submitted in Viscaya SV Dowry Harassment and suicide said his husband Kiran Kumar had pushed him to commit suicide because he continued his physical and mental torture over Mahar.

On June 21, Viscaya, 22, Nilamel, was found hanging on the toilet of her husband’s house in Sasthamcotta in the district.
The case is registered in Kiran Kumar triggering part 498A (atrocities) and 304b (Dowry Death) from the IPC.
Chargesheet submitted by Sasthamcotta DSP Rajkumar contains 98 notes and 56 material evidence.
Rajkumar, who led the investigation, said the police were sure to ensure confidence to Kirankumar, which is the assistant inspector of motorized vehicles in Kollam.
After his arrest, the motor vehicle department stopped it from service in August.
“We are committed to submitting a Chargesheet within 90 days.
It was filed on the 80th day,” said Mohan Das, a special public prosecutor who handled this case.
Chargesheet was also examined by the South Zone IG Harshitha Atlaluri.
DSP Rajkumar told the media that the Police Forensic Department provided experts to gather all evidence.
“Details of Calls and Visimaya Chat, warn friends and relatives about harassment, their voice and video chat all becomes part of important evidence,” he said.
