Charlotte Johnson Wahl, a professional painter and mother of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has died at the age of 79, the telegraph newspaper reported.
Johnson Wahl died “suddenly and peace” at London Hospital on Monday, the newspaper said, quoting a statement from the family.
Downing Street does not respond to requests for comments.
Family representatives cannot be achieved immediately.
Johnson has described his mother as a “superior authority” in the family during the conservative party’s annual conference in 2019.
