Chatra: Two men were awarded a life sentence on Wednesday for killing their uncle in 2009 because of suspicion of practicing black magic and killing their brothers.
District Additional Court and Hakim Session (II) Kaushik Mishra also slapped the fine of each Rs 5,000 in both, failed that they had to spend six months extra in prison.
Duo – identified as Sadhu Bharti and Madhu Bharti – believes that Faudar Bharti (55) who died was responsible for the death of their Kamlesh Bharti’s brother.
Kamlesh Died in Nonia Pali Village under the Huntergunj Block in 2009.
Suspects their uncle’s hand in Kamlesh’s death, Sadhu, Madhu and two of their brothers – Pravesh Bharti and Ramesh Bharti – dragged Fudar from his house and binded his limbs and binded his limbs and Tying his limbs.

Ramesh was held earlier this week while Pravesh was still missing, police said.
The arrested duo has submitted a guarantee petition in the Jharkhand High Court but was rejected.
The court has given an order for quick trial in this case.
