Coimbatore: Hindu Munnani has condemned the state government to ban the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi in public places and take idols in a procession.
The president of the Kadeshawara Subramanian state clothing accused that the state government ignored the Hindu festival even when he lived away from disrupting other religious festivals.
“The intention of the Government of the DMK is clear of the command that prohibits the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi.
They do not want Hindus to unite.
We strongly condemn this government’s actions,” he said.
Subramanian said that Hindu Munnani will oppose training orders and will install 1.25 lakh idols Lord Vinayaka throughout the state planned.
