CHB 2 BHK applies to RS 1.01CR, 3 BHK for RS 1.07CR

Chandigarh: Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) gets Rs 9.81 Crore with sales of 12 units of freehold housing in various parts of the city.
In the e-tender process, which was completed on Thursday, 2BHK went to Crore RS 1.01 which defeat in sector 49 and 3 BHK in sector 63 for RS 1.07 Crore.
The Board invites e-tender for sales of 46 built-up occupancy units based on Freehold.
12 units were included for the first time and 34 others were unable to be sold for the last three tender processes.
Units are available in sector 38 (West), 49, 51 and 63.
The last date for submission of e-BIDs is August 4 to 6pm and this opened on Thursday 10:00.
Thirty bids received for 12 units of residence.
The CEO of the Yashpal Garg Board said, “Based on the location, the scenery and the number of units available, it was decided to go for a dynamic reserve price for some of them.
Thus, the price of reserves was increased based on experiments.
These experiments generate good income against the Chandigar Housing Board.” Over the past three months, the Board has carried out three e-auctions for the 109 freehold residential property.
A total of 76 properties have been sold so far and the rest along with some new properties included in this auction.
Many more empty properties were identified and included in the e-tender for the first time.
Exercises identifying empty Chb properties and free disputes begins recently following the direction of Garg.
The CHB staff have identified four commercial properties (leashold), 15 housing units (leashold) and 14 residential properties (freehold).
CHB has prepared a list of 270 properties, including 11 housing (leashold), 109 housing (freehold) and 156 commercial (leashold), for sale.
To get a good response, CHB has reduced property reserve prices by 10%.
There was even no single bidder disclosed in a chb property auction held in 2019 because the price of backup was too high for residential and commercial properties.
This time, the Board decided to replace the e-auction process selling property with e-tender.
In e-auction, a serious money deposit (EMD) to participate cannot be paid online.
Bidder deposits it in the CHB account and sends evidence.
Payments are confirmed by CHB officers before allowing bidders to participate in the e-auction process.
Therefore, the number of bidders for certain properties and their identity is not fully secret.
However, in the e-tender process, EMD can be paid online and does not need any approval.
Therefore, there is complete confidentiality about the number of bidders and their identity.
