Audit is done to examine various aspects of health care including accidents and emergency handling, laboratories, outpatient care, care, labor rooms, operating theater and overall general administration.
It has received the highest score of 97.1% in accident and emergency treatments, followed by laboratories at 96% and pharmacies at 92%.
Sarkar Samakulam Health Supervisor Dr.
A Murugesan said that the center had 10 doctors and 10 nurses worked on the base shift.
Anywhere between 300-400 people visit the center in a day with a variety of treatments.
“Two caesareans were carried out at the center recently, the first of the health centers in the state.
That might be due to the quality of the theater operations.
We have binded with a private blood bank to get blood if an emergency case occurs.
There is also a proposal for establishing a blood bank in the middle itself, “said Dr.
Murgugan.
People from broad areas including Saravanampatti, Thudiangur, Pogalur and ManickAnti apart from Sarkar Samakulam visiting facilities for treatment, health workers said.
