Kanpur: Police on Sunday Nabbed two defendants who used to deceive people by changing their ATM cards on behalf of aid.
About 21 ATM cards and cash worth 42 thousand has recovered from ownership.
The police made it easier whether more people were involved in this gang.
There are many complaints against criminals from the local community.
The Crooks’ mode-operandi is that they are used to change debit cards (especially parents) in ATM booths on behalf of aid.
Three cases like that have been registered at Kalyanpur Police Station recently.
Therefore, the police have been looking for this gang.
Acting on specific tip-off, the police on Sunday arrested two men standing near ATM outlets located near the Namak factory.
“During the interrogation, people expressed their names as Ramavatar Prajapati, a resident of Gunjan Bihar Barra and Anil Yadav, a resident of Badlapur in Jaunpur.
Both of them claimed their involvement in some cases of fraud like that,” police said.
Kalyanpur Dinesh Kumar Shukla said that the defendant had been ordered under the relevant part of the IPC and sent to prison.
