Ranchi / Koderma: Koderma Regency that surpasses even Ranchi in the case of new Covid-19 cases during the beginning of the current infection phase last week December has begun to report fewer cases.

In the last week of December, about 80-90 new cases reported from the Koderma which rose 180 on December 28, even higher than Ranchi where the number of active cases was 174.
That was because the situation was that the central team visited the coderma to take stocks of readiness and management of Covid .
The decrease in a surprisingly new infection was less related to Covid management and more about underporting tests and sharp decreases in the number of samples tested in the district.
Friday, the number of active cases suddenly rose to 560 because districts were managed to get a delayed test report.
Of the 5,916 samples sent and delayed for RT-PCR testing, 164 was found positively.
The results of this sample were delayed over the past three days.

DK Saxena’s surgical data acknowledged that the sample testing was delayed in the Laboratory in Delhi where samples were sent by the state government if the laboratory in Ranchi was burdened.
Previously, the sample of the coderma was tested in hazaribag but because the RT-PCR laboratory no longer functions there, the sample was sent to Ranchi where they were sent to the private laboratory in Delhi.

The number of new cases dropped suddenly from January 11 when 299 samples were tested and 14 were found positively attended by nine positive cases on 12 and three January on January 13.

The district has been targeted to carry out 3,000 RT-PCR tests every day, but the average daily test figures are as low as 1,500.

He said, “All CHCs, including Satidewa and JAnetar CHC who are not performed well, have been given targets and MOS has been instructed to meet the target.
