After several delays in Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi Starrer ‘Chehre’ were released on August 27 in theaters throughout the country.
The drama of the courtroom was directed by Rumy Jafry and has opened a boring response at the box office.
According to the latest report on BoxOfficeindia.com, this film produces Rs 40 Lakh on Monday and now stands in the total collection of Rs 2.25 Crore in four days.
The film was reported to have gotten a lot of business in Delhi NCR and East Punjab.
‘Chehre’ is a mystery drama and continues to face some competitions from the ‘bell bottom’ spy film Akshay Kumar, who is currently in the second week of release.
The previous report suggested that ‘chehre’ can be released on OTT, but the maker decided to oppose it and choose the release of traditional theater.
Apart from Amitabh Bachchan and Hashmi Emraan, the film also starred in Krystle d’Souza, Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhanth Kapoor and Annu Kapoor in an important role.
Post the ‘chehre’ release.
Rumu Jafry now plans to revive the film he planned with Sush Singh Rajput.
Talking about the same thing, Rumy told Etimes, “Now ‘chehre’ is out there, I found the opportunity to attract the script that I wrote for Sushant and I read it.
Now I have to decide with who to make a film and when to make it.
You know, every time I see the script it reminds me of Sushant, so I used to return it to the shelf.
It’s more than a year now and it’s his favorite script, so I will definitely make it.
