Chennai: A total of 1,849 students from Vit, Chennai, received their degree in a virtual meeting held on Wednesday.
Vit Chancellor G Viswanathan asked the state and central government to allocate 6% of GDP to start new educational institutions and increase the strength of students to realize 50% gross registration ratio.
Rambabu Kodali, Deputy Chancellor Vit, said 37 faculty members from Vit have been recognized as 2% of the top scientists by Stanford University, USA.
