Chennai: One day after a 48-year-old man was hacked to death in front of his house in Semmanry, the police had arrested three suspects and detained three teenagers.
The investigation revealed that the gang killed the Velu, a temporary corporate worker, to avenge the murder of Vadivazhagan, the brother accused Balaji, 18.
Vadivazhagan was killed in Chetpet on June 16.
Balaji, through a sonin-law suresh, through Aide, played a key role in murder.
Balaji found a velu sleeping outside the house in the quarter tsunami, reaching a place with five other people and hacked it to death on Sunday.
Princess Velu identified the suspect from CCTV footage.
Semmanryry police secured the suspects from the hiding place in Chengalpet.
Another accused of Charles, Sanjay and three teenagers.
While the three adults were returned in court detention, teenagers were sent to the house of government observations.
