CHENNAI: The range of containment zones from town has halved in only 1 week, official information published by Greater Chennai Corporation shown.
Even a containment zone is a road which has over 10 active Covid-19 instances.
Official data indicates that there have been 365 containment zones May 31.
Only a week ago, on May 24, there have been 765 containment zones.
Furthermore, the amount of roads with one active instance has also decreased from approximately 6,200 to 4,400.
