Chennai: A 20-year-old man who stabbed his father to death while drunk, was arrested by police Mgr Nagar.
Selvam who has died, 45, is a resident of Choolaipallam.
The police said that Selvam sent his son Prakash to a separate rented house a few months since the last is addicted to liquor.
Prakash who lived separately in the same area reached Selvam’s house to meet his mother.
Because he was drunk, an argument broke out between Selvam and Prakash and the last allegedly stabbed Selvam with a knife and escaped from the place.
Selvam rushed to a government hospital in K Nagar, but he was declared dead.
